Communication
Communication can be simply explained in a technical way as transmition message between transmitter and receiver. Many different kinds of noise interfere with the message on its path, and both – receiver and transmitter – have their own interpretation filters.
The same is in human communication. The quality and effectiveness of communication depend on both parties.
We communicate verbally and non-verbally.
Verbal communication can be in person or in writing.
With non-verbal communication the following factors form the message
- body language
- facial expression
- voice and tonality.
We communicate in every instant, so it is wise to learn how to communicate successfully.
The key to good communication is to connect with the other person. With this we create an atmosphere of trust. For establishing a good connection we need to work on our non-verbal communication as well as verbal.
When communicating we find ourselves in different roles – as an employee, as a manager, as a client, a colleague,… Each role has their own characteristics and needs attracting different responses. If we understand what responses we create and how, we can build a good relationship.
We encourage you to share your communication challenges with us to create a tailor-made program for you, or you can pick one of the standard workshops we conduct can be seen on the left.
